Shimano Aldebaran

The Shimano Aldebaran is the latest magnesium baitcast reel from Japan. This reel includes a 9 bearing system that comes in at a weight of approximately 5.4 oz! With stylistic cues similar to Daiwa’s previous flagship reel (the TDZ) as well as the recently released Curado E, this reel looks like an exciting upgrade to the now discontinued scorpion 1000 mg /Chronarch 50mg reels.
