New Bassmaster Classic Release. A series of mid range rods that leverages the Jackall Shimano design partnership and taking design cues from their higher end Expride and Poison Adrena lines to the masses. The line up will include a total of 12 rods comprised of six casting models 6’10” and 7’2″ in length. As well as, six spinning models in 6’8″ and 7′ in length.
The series is touted as being developed and built by Shimano and will feature Hi-Power X construction. This construction process is essentially comprised of wrapping a carbon fiber blank with carbon tape in a 45 degree “X” pattern on the outside of the blank increasing its torsional rigidity. What this translates to for the angler is blank twist is mitigated and as a consequence better casting distance and accuracy should be achieved.
The rod series will also feature lightweight CI4+ material reel seats in addition to Fuji Alconite K semi-micro guides.
